Best Casual Games Mac OS XTwo types of casual games on Mac OS X I like are hidden object (Mystery Files) and time management (Diner Dash). However, hidden object games have one huge flaw in my eyes. Some are 800x600 and too small to play without putting your eyes inches from the screen. Going full screen doesn't solve the problem as some stretch out of propotion to fill the screen and the objects already very well hidden are even harder to find. So these ones I recommend are all 1024x768 screen resolution. Thus there aren't 50 or 500 recommendations. I tried out every single Big Fish Mac games (August 2008) and most were 800x600. Note the time management games are 800x600 but look decent at full screen. Compare stretched (objects distorted) , 800x600 (too small) and 1024x768 (best above all the rest) Also these casual mac games are all $7/each and all from Big Fish Games. All games have full demo for 60 minutes. Hope that clears it up. Bigfishgames Japan has also opened website September 2008 in Japan but right now only PC games no Mac. . They had it open in 2006 for just a brief time with only 3 games and shut it down. I'm pretty much done buying new ones as of March 2009 as I've pretty much switched over to iphone as gaming platform of choice.
