Adblock Plus

Filters ads from web-pages
Adblock can automatically imports filters from the internet if you wish. I recommend it highly just subscribed to the list of filters.



FlashBlock
Before you view a flash ad you must click it. Definitely a must in my book.

Downthemall (Down them all)
I use this all the time. Mostly for downloading 2GB files and in just in case I have trouble I can resume. Just like wget, etc. Also is awesome from download photos all at once off a page.



Nuke Anything Ehanced

This is perfect for printing pages. Highlight ad or text and right click and choose Remove selection. Then when you print you only see what you wish to see.



Colorzilla

Capture colors R,G,B or Hex just like eyedropper. You can also install gimp color palettes as shown here Visibone.



Scrapbook

Save entire or select portions of webpages for archival purposes. Organize and search through captured pages. Many similiar apps exist either cost money or have a catch (report aggregate data, etc.) this one is entirely free and no hidden crap. Tools | Scrapbook or right click on page and Capture Page or select certain text, images and Capture Selection. Also has built-in notes so it eliminates need for extension QuickNotes.



Scrapbook also has an edit mode with the following features:
- Add block comment after selection
- Highlight selection in Yellow, Blue, Green or Pink
- Remove selection
- Dom Eraser: tool for removing a clicked block
- Undo
- Save changes

Can disable Image Animations, Referrer logging, etc.

Trying to install them from the official mozilla.org extensions page is nothing but errors. To avoid going to numerous sites and 'allowing' them permission to install I created this page for myself and others so they can quickly install a few of the more popular extensions and themes.


Firefox limits one to two simultaneous downloads from one site.
about:config and search for 'persistent' and change value from 2 to say 6
network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-server 6
