Big Two is a four player Chinese card game. Tichu like game. Big Two iPhone Rules see Strategies too. Single standard 52 card deck with the Jokers removed. Each player is dealt 13 cards. Object is to control the lead and get rid of all your cards in your hand. 2 is high then A, K....5, 4, 3. Play is counter-clockwise. If a player leads with single you must play a single. Likewise for pairs and triples. When two cards have the same value then compare based on suits (spades > hearts > clubs > diamonds). Five card groups: Straight < Flush < Full House < Four of a Kind < Straight Flush. When you play a Flush, for instance, another player could beat it with Four of a Kind + any other card. You can click a button to toggle between your cards sorted by rank or sorted by suit.

Briscola / Brisca try free local wifi version is an traditional Italian trick-taking card game with some nice strategy. First player to 60 points wins. Basically you just need to memorize card ranking and point values. Game play is quick. Beginning of game one card is drawn for trump suit (coins, clubs, cups or swords). Cards that have flaming on bottom simply indicate they match the current trump suit. Rules are: Any suit matching trump highest card will win over all other cards. If no trump card is played, highest card wins of the lead suit played, .If no trump card is played the lead suit will always win regardless of rank if two different suits are played. Durak is most popular card game in Russia. To me it reminds me of Great Dalmuti. Can play AI against one, two or three opponents. Only one loser and that's who is the last to get rid of cards in their hand. Player places a card and person to left must defend against the attack by placing a higher value (cards range from 6 to Ace) of the same suit or a trump card. To continue attack, the attack must place value of a card already on board. If defender cannot defend they must take all the cards from the table. That's the gist of it. Couple more rules but pretty easy to grasp. Can customize backs of cards from photo library.

Fight the Landlord try demo (limit of 5 rounds) is Dou Di Zhu which is like Guan, Tichu, etc. Idea is to have two players trying to beat the landlord. If you want to be the landlord (think you got a great hand) then you can bid for it in an auction. Auction the more times it is bid for the higher the multiplier gets which determines the scores at the end. If landlord gets rid of all his cards first then he wins and two peasants lose and vice versa if one of the peasants goes out first the peasants win and beat the landlord.

Only bombs can beat anything and a Rocket (two jokers) can even beat a bomb. Note junk cards must differ from base pairs or base triplets. 2's cannot be used in triplets. Suits are irrelevant.

Orions: Legend of Wizards is a great card strategy game. Fire, Water, Earth, Air, Death and Life elements with 75 cards. Has a bit of a learning curve for sure but once you start learning the various cards your in pure heaven or nirvana or whatever. Reiner Knizia's Knights of Charlemagne is a light strategy card game where object is to capture estates. Colored estates are worth 5 points and others are worth their value indicated by the number. Bonus crown is worth 5 points and is awarded to the player first to capture two estates from left to right. Capturing estates is accomplished by whomever has the most knights (not the sum, sum is irrelavant) on a paticular state indicated by the sword icon. When placing knights they can only be placed on the same numbered estate or their colored estate.

Reiner Knizia's Poison is a light strategy card game if you cause one of the three cauldron pots to overflow (sum exceeds 13) then you are forced to take those potion cards leaving the card in the cauldron you just played. A green poison card is always a 4 and is worth 2 points. Each potion card is worth 1 point, however, at the end of each round if you have the most blue potion cards amongst all players you can discard them and likewise for most with the yellow or red potion cards. Numbers in the circle indicated how many colored potion cards each player has collected. Can only play against the AI 4, 5, or 6 player games. Play four rounds for 4 player game, 5 rounds for 5 player and 6 rounds for 6 player game.

Werewolf try demo is a party game best played with family or really close friends. Easy to get offended in this game so doing it with people you've met the first time isn't exactly the way to go.
