Azkend try demo has talismans which when you connect four activate. Some of them are kinda lame but great thing is once you unlock them you can choose which one you wish to use. Adventure is pretty fun.

Bejeweled 2 polished match 3 classic that has exploding gems if you match 4 or more.

Chop Sushi try demo is a strategy match 3 game turn based strategy (no time limit) and you can pick up any one and must move up, down, left or right to the edge of board and matches happen that way. 4 match gives you an extra turn as do multiple matches. Wasabi does damage. Fugu increases your experience multiplier. Fish increases your fish (money) which you can shop for new recipes for. Sushi is used for recipes (like wasabi bomb 250 damage to opponent or another recipe gains 250 health). Note with recipes your opponent can use them too so whoever is last to trigger recipe gains that effect. Book of Cook as you progress through Adventure mode has Boosts, Traps and Specials. Others in this genre you may wish to check out include Samurai Puzzle Battle try demo, Aurora Feint and Puzzle Quest 1 and 2 try demo.

Dragon Portals the quality just keeps rising graphically and gameplay wise. This is the newest one August 2009 and it's a matter of clicking on one to drop either creating a match of 3 or more from the ball dropping below or by vacating that space. Tons of powerups and you need to fill the dragon meters before the dragons decend.

Glyph polished version click blocks of same color (not a match 3 but casual gameplay like match 3) and has many special powerups.

Kyodai and iLink both play the same. Choose two matching pairs that have a connecting path / link with a maximum of two 90 degree turns. You can also make a link by going on the outer edge. Kyodai has hint feature if you get stuck. I prefer this rather than playing American's version of Mahjong where you match two pairs of cryptic symbols.

PileUp! Candymania is probably my favorite match 4 game on iphone. Can rotate pieces by flipping up then tap anywhere. Then move left or right to place triangle of 3 candy pieces. Has locks that don't fall until they are matched with 4 of same candy piece. Also has numbers which lower each time a match is made. Great graphics but most importantly fun gameplay.

Rise of Atlantis try demo is another top matching game with extreme polish.

Treasures of Montezuma try demo is quite a polished title. Screenshots don't do it justice. Trophies are fun to earn and the six power totems always come in handy when activated by making matches of the same color consecutively.
